As I acquired more knowledge about this growing menace inside my body, I discovered that it was actually the cause of many other subsequent major illnesses. By compromising my immune system, the Candida made me vulnerable to a host of other problems, including polio, leukemia, and most recently, to a type of fungus that grew in my liver.
