Who doesn’t love a sweet and savory potato chip? Ditch all the fat that comes with frying and indulge in this guilt-free treat!

Step 1

Thoroughly wash your sweet potatoes.

Step 2

Slice your potatoes as thin as possible. We recommend using a mandolin slicer if you have one available. The thinner the slice, the crispier your chip will be!

Step 3

Mix up the magic! Use either Braggs Liquid Aminos or a combination of water and powdered kelp/dulse as your base. Mix in smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder to taste. Thoroughly whisk all ingredients together in a bowl.

Step 4

Dip the slices of sweet potato into the bowl, then place each slice into your dehydrator.

Step 5

Dehydrate. We know this is the hardest step because you want to eat those delicious chips! Take this time to practice patience as the dehydrating process will likely take 2 full days depending on how thinly you sliced your sweet potato. How do you know when they are ready? Try a test chip, and if it isn’t crispy enough, just keep them crisping in the dehydrator for longer. Store in an airtight container in a cool try place.
