The Diet

Hippocrates Wellness TripAdvisor Rating

What is the diet?

Eating a raw food diet for three weeks might be a new experience for you, and we hope that you’ll find it a pleasant change. We are certain that your body and mind will love fresh, living food, and that you will quickly feel the wonderful results. An integral part of the program’s success is due to the way in which we prepare the food. The focus is on maintaining the bioactive forces present in raw and live vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, grains, and legumes. We hope that you enjoy your dining experience while you are at the Institute.

The Hippocrates diet consists of 80% raw and 20% cooked food to assist you in the transition from a cooked food diet. One hundred percent raw is advised for those working to conquer disease.

Banana “Nice Cream” with Date Carob Sauce

Everyone goes crazy at Raw Fest for our Banana “Nice Cream” with our simply perfect Date Carob Sauce. When you freeze bananas and then put them through an auger press juicer (using the blank attachment), you will create a tasty alternative to ice cream that is just as thick and creamy as the cow’s milk-based variety!
